1. About Us
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of Crit full access account / Standard Subscription provided by Frthst Ltd a company registered in the United Kingdom.

2. About the Service
Crit Standard is a subscription-based service that provides unlimited use of the Crit text simplification service during the billing period.

Access to these services requires an active subscription.

3. Payments
We do not process or store any payment information.
All payments are handled securely by our third-party payment provider, Stripe and your subscription is subject to their terms and policies.

Your subscription will begin once the payment processor confirms your payment.

4. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account details secure.
You must not share your login details or allow others to access your account.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or misuse the service.

5. Subscription, Renewal and Cancellation
Your subscription will renew automatically unless cancelled through our payment processor Stripe.

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

If you cancel only your subscription, your Crit account will still be active, but the services described above will not be available to you. You may renew your subscription at any time.

If you cancel your Crit account, you will have to create a new Crit account to renew your subscription.

6. Refunds and Payment Disputes
Refunds are handled by our payment processor Stripe in line with their policies.

We do not issue any refunds and all disputes with regard to payments for your Crit subscription are managed solely by Stripe.

7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
use the service for unlawful purposes
attempt to copy, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service
upload harmful or malicious content

We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these rules.

8. Availability of the Service
We aim to provide reliable access to the service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the previous 12 months

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or anything else that cannot be limited under UK law.

10. Data Protection
We process your personal data in accordance with our privacy notice.

We do not store or process your payment information; this is managed by Stripe and their privacy notice applies for the payment information you provide for your subscription.

11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If changes are significant, we will notify you in advance.
Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be resolved by the courts of England and Wales.
